Business-to-business can mean many things, and in the case of Peggy Morgans’ company it meant creating high-end window treatments for interior designers. Peggy had been operating successfully for a quite some time, but her logo had not been refreshed for about 10 years and consequently her branding had fallen behind that of her competitors. After diligent research on the Web, she found the right company to solve her branding problem.
Peggy visited the offices of IDU Creative Services and — after reviewing the portfolio and talking to the creative director — gave the project a green light. She had specific concepts for her logo in mind: she like elegant, calligraphic fonts and wanted imagery that made her type of business immediately evident and also highlighted her engineering background. IDU researched the competition to established where Peggy’s logo would live and designed a logo incorporating all of her design requirements. Peggy agreed that the new identity was a huge step up from her previous logo, and hired IDU to create office stationery, email blast headers, and a newsletter masthead.
